I feel like I am a complete blogger failure. I really want to blog at least a few times a month, but in all reality, I am lucky to blog every few months. Not what I expected when I jumped into the Land of Blogging. Please accept my humble apology!
I thought I would start 2014 off with linking up with Farley's Currently for January.
If you notice, "Wanting" is to be able to walk, lol. I had foot surgery at the beginning of December. I had a cast on for 3 weeks and last week I got it off and was put in a walking boot. I couldn't put any weight on it until this week and I am only allowed 10 minutes every few hours. I am not allowed to go back to school until February. I joked around with others about enjoying a break from my needy class, but in all reality, I have missed them terribly! I am a real control freak and I wonder what they are doing all the time.
During my time off, you would think I would be working on new TpT units. I wish I could! I just feel like my creative ideas are gone. I hope I get them back soon! I think when my boys go back to school next week, I will try to plan things that I will be teaching when I get back to school. I will be stuck at home because I can't drive yet. I will admit that my afternoon naps have become very enjoyable.
I hope everyone's 2014 has started off great!

Hi Heather! I'm stopping by from Currently! I so feel feel you about the lack of blogging and TPT motivation! I can usually get to Currently every month, but that's about it... just don't have the motivation like I used to! I hope your foot heals up soon and you are able to enjoy some of your time off! :) Happy New Year!

Spending time with your boys is better than planning anyway!
I've been going through a real slump, too! I've just let it go and enjoyed having more time to relax with family, friends and my kitty of course!!Happy New Year!
