TpT Leap Year Sale

Have you heard the good news?

I just joined the Leap Day Sale at TpT. ALL of my products will be 20% on Wednesday.  Then with the promo code for another 10% off, it works out to 28% off-EVERYTHING. If there was something you wanted, it's a great day to get it at a really good price.

I am linking up with others that are also throwing a sale.

I hope to have my 1st Grade Treasures unit for 6.2 completed and posted before the sale begins.

I also plan on having a freebie sometime this week.  I'm having trouble currently keeping my head above water.  I will feel much better once I have my unannounced observation.  There are only two regular education teachers left in our building....and we are both anticipating it to be this week.

I hope everyone has a great week!

Needing Your Help and Advice

Okay friends...I am in need of some help from all you creative teachers!  Within the next two weeks I know that my unannounced observation is going to happen.  I know this because there are only two of us left and our principal plans to be done with them before Spring Break.

We use the enVisions math series and I begin Measurement on Thursday.  I looked on TpT and did not see any cute measurement units (if I over looked one that you have used, please tell me).  Can anyone give me some cute/fun ideas for this unit?  I really appreciate your advice!

THANKS!!

New TpT Units

I can't believe it's Sunday night already.  I have spent the majority of the weekend in bed...sick.  My hubby is on night shift this weekend, so I've had to get up to fix my 7 year old dinner and that is about it.  I've been sick since Thursday and I really need it to go away.  The worst part has been the severe earache.

I have been able to stay awake a few hours today to get a few things done that I have been working on.  I have now posted Unit 6, Week 1 of the Treasures 1st Grade Story (Dot and Jabber).  I have also posted a math unit, 2nd Grade Treasure Vocabulary Cards, Spelling Cards, and High Frequency Word Cards.  Below are pictures from the units.

I am very jealous of all of you that are off tomorrow.  We don't have kids, but we have professional development all day.  I hope I can make it through it.  Enjoy your Monday!

New TpT Unit

I have posted Unit 5, Week 4 for 1st Grade Treasures to my TpT store.  Below are a few of the items included.  If you would like to purchase this unit, just click on the picture below.

I am feeling just a little overwhelmed these days.  I feel like there is not enough time in the day to work, take care of my family, cook, clean, and work on school things.  Today, I was working on another TpT unit and my 7 year old said, "Mom, come watch cartoons with me."  How could I say no?  Of course, I didn't get everything done for school this week that I wanted...I'm not even sure I'm ready for Valentine's Day.  I am hoping that this feeling will go away as soon as I have my drop in evaluation.  Why must everything be so stressful?

Oh well, I hope everyone has a great Monday!

Over the past few weeks, we have been working on writing friendly letters.  On Friday, my class each wrote the Tooth Fairy a letter after we read the book Dear Tooth Fairy.  When class started on Tuesday morning, one of my students noticed a big envelope addressed to our class.  The Tooth Fairy had written each student back.  We also made kids in their pajamas.

Today our math lesson was making new shapes out of pattern blocks.  I love to see how creative the students can be.

The best part of my week has been....
