I am feeling just a little overwhelmed these days. I feel like there is not enough time in the day to work, take care of my family, cook, clean, and work on school things. Today, I was working on another TpT unit and my 7 year old said, "Mom, come watch cartoons with me." How could I say no? Of course, I didn't get everything done for school this week that I wanted...I'm not even sure I'm ready for Valentine's Day. I am hoping that this feeling will go away as soon as I have my drop in evaluation. Why must everything be so stressful?

I get it (and I don't even have kids). Today I kind of fell apart in a ridiculously stressed out way. My hunnybun told me to get a hobby not related to teaching. That may be some good advice, actually.
Sometimes you have to let something give for a minute while you feed your soul a little. Cartoons were probably a good way to do that. :)
This is a crazy-long comment, but I just remembered a cross-stitch my mom had on the wall when I was growing up that I will never forget.
"Cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow
for babies grow up, we've learned to our sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs, and dust go to sleep.
I'm rocking my baby, and babies don't keep."
Some things are important, and some things will be there tomorrow. :)
