Here it is Tuesday night and I'm wondering what theme I might do in my class for next year. I keep looking for something to inspire me. Currently, I have a monkey/jungle theme. At my school, we have a flag hanging outside our classes to represent our theme. I have been thinking about monsters...but where will I find a flag with a monster on it? Anyone with any suggestions?
I just posted a classroom theme unit on TpT. It is for those teachers who use the Americana theme or just like the colors red, white, and blue. It includes calendar pieces, a WELCOME banner, schedule cards, name plates, table number signs, and other goodies. Here is a picture of some of the things included...
Happy Tuesday!

I love those paintings! So cute! I think you should do monsters but the flag is a problem. I found this cute blog today that is switching to a monster theme. http://www.teachingmaddeness.com/
Made me think of you!

Amanda,
Thank you for stopping by my blog today. I think your blog name is too cute! I am your newest follower.
The flag thing might be a problem. Have you thought about buying a plain colored flag and painting a monseter on it? Also, oriental trading might have something for you.

I cannot delete my last post, so please ignore it (it is just a figment of your imagination)! I usually hit preview and for some reason I just hit the post button.
I am your newest follower. I do think your blog is adorable. And I think switching to a monster theme would be cute as well!
I suggested oriental trading because they have a lot of different ideas and themes. They might also sell flags that you could decorate yourself.
I think your paintings are adorable too. I could never create a picture like that because I'm not very artistic. My seven year old is our artist. I wonder if having her draw sketches for me would fall under child labor (hmmm...)! :)
